I think my own wishes for successful romantics are just the seeds that are planted on the tree of failure. And yet, it doesn't stop me. I see a pretty face and, well, I just wonder if their personality matches it. I just wonder if there's a possibility that there could be something there. And then, I realize that the odds of something actually happening are slim to none at best. I make a fool out of myself. I get mad at myself. I get over it. And I move on...
I wish, just for once, that a connection -- the "something there" -- is actually there...
